Comments: I own a half dozen swimbait rods and usually throw baits in the the 3-8 oz range. The 807 is, by far, my favorite swimbait rod and is easily the most versatile. If I could only own one rod to chuck big baits, I would chose this one without hesitation.

Comments: Bought the 807 recently. Let me tell you it's awesome thus far. I throw the 8 inch hudds on this and it casts like a dream. I have yet to hook into a monster yet so I can't comment on how it handles a big fish but really I think that will be the least of my concerns based on the reviews and research I did before purchasing. For such a big rod it is well balanced and light. This rod will not wear you out when your chucking big baits for the gorillas. I would reccomend this rod to anyone looking to buy a swimbait rod.
