Comments: Bought the 795 and wow this is one balanced rod for a 7'9" rod. this is my first dobyns and I am very impressed. this rod is very very impressive for such a long rod. this rod balances better than some high end 7'-7'6" rods I have. I was looking for a swimbait rod and I did lots and lots of research and was told this is the best swimbait rod on the market. And after I received it from TW the research was correct. extremely sensitive and tons of backbone. I was looking for any excuse to still buy only American made loomis and croix's but now I find myself wanting my arsenal to be all dobyns. I cant imagine how balanced their shorter rods are. Hope to get a DX for jigging but IMO you get the most bang for your buck with the champion line, SS sic guides, very balanced, quality HM graphite.

Comments: The 795 is by far the best A-rig rod that I have ever used. Balanced and easy to fish with all day. I fished the A-rig most of the day in a tournament and I was not tired of casting the bait at the end of the day. Perfection....

Comments: This is followup to my previous review on the 807. I finally hooked into some nice fish using this rod and let me tell you its insane good. I own a Powell swimbait rod as well, but this rod is far and away a lot better. You can feel the fish look at your bait, its that good. Dobyns rods from here on out....do it buy it and you won't regret it.
Comments: I own a half dozen swimbait rods and usually throw baits in the the 3-8 oz range. The 807 is, by far, my favorite swimbait rod and is easily the most versatile. If I could only own one rod to chuck big baits, I would chose this one without hesitation.

Comments: The 795 is an awesome A-rig rod. Casts 65 pound braid with ease and handles heavy fish with no problem. Plenty of backbone. Fish this rod with confidence.

Comments: Bought the 807 recently. Let me tell you it's awesome thus far. I throw the 8 inch hudds on this and it casts like a dream. I have yet to hook into a monster yet so I can't comment on how it handles a big fish but really I think that will be the least of my concerns based on the reviews and research I did before purchasing. For such a big rod it is well balanced and light. This rod will not wear you out when your chucking big baits for the gorillas. I would reccomend this rod to anyone looking to buy a swimbait rod.

Comments: The 807 is quite honestly the best rod out there for big game fish. The quality is smashing, 13 line guides and other beautiful features similar rods can't even touch. My record so far is three 58" Muskie's on this rod. Awesome overall value.

Comments: Heard about the 807 from the tactical Bassin website. Bought it from Tackle warehouse to throw 8 inch Huddys. I love the thing, its like an extension of your body. I'm throwing swimbaits all the time now and only buying Dobyns rods from here on out.

Comments: The best swimbait rod out there!! Iown both of them, and haven't had any regrets!! Great for throwing monster topwater baits, and a great pike/musky rod. Thank you Dobyns for a great rod.

Comments: Dobyn's quality is hand's down the best I've seen for swimbait rods. Never used a rod that has such a soft feel for a bite with the combined power of plenty of backbone.
