Surgical rubber tubing is included in the package and fits over the eyelet of the trailer, holding it snuggly onto the curve of the hook. Comments: The hook holding rubber piece does not allow the hook to turn at all. when fishing a spinner bait the hook will turn one way and cause the bait to run different and spin. I like to slide the hook on my spinner bait and then put the hook through the red piece that way i have some freedom with the trailer hook and it wont stay stationary in one spot ruining my retrieve.
