Comments: I have several of these rods each paired with Shimano reels. All i can say is for the $100.00 price range rod they cannot be beaten when it comes to sensitvity and all day fishability. Excellent quality and backbone when setting the hook. I carried one of mine to Kentucky Lake and caught over 100 bass in two days using this rod and and an older Shimano Chronarch spooled with 15 lb Seaguar flurocarbon. You can't go wrong with this rod try one!!

Comments: Bought one of these at WalMart also. The rod fisha beautify light and sensitive. The reel seat on mine got lose so I removed it to replace it. Upon removal I noticed that instead of tape or graphite arbors there were a out twenty tooth picks used as the anchor for the reel seat. So I got curious and wondered if my other bucoo was built the same so I removed the reel seat on my 7'0" med spin and to be honest I wasn't surprised by what I found again just a bunch of tooth picks and glue.

Comments: I don't know why people blast a rod manufacture because you can find these at Walmart. I have 6 of the Bucco Series, 5 casting and the 7" m spinning. Love all of them. They have stood the abuse I throw at them, no issues with guides, very light and comfortable to fish with all day. Plenty of backbone when needed, not to mention sensitivity. Falcon Bucco will always be in my line up of rods to fish, quality rod at a great price.

Comments: I read a few reviews about this rod and decided to put in my two cents. Its a nice little rod and I genuinely enjoyed fishing with it, handled a few 4 and 5 pounders with ease and stood up to me carelessly slinging them out of the water. I do not like the reel seat at all nor do I care for the cheap feeling foam grip. I want to like this rod, I really do, however at this price point I don't feel like its worth the money.

Comments: I have had a BMS 7M for about a year and was generally pleased with it but it recently broke when I was reeling in a 2 1/2 lb pickerel. The first two inches of the rod broke off. I called customer service and was told that I should send it to Falcon for "evaluation"-- I guess meaning they would determine if they would replace the rod. Some five year warranty! Since the cost to wrap and send it to them (without any assurance that it would be replaced) was over $25 I called them back and asked if they would send me a new tip and I would repair it myself. Customer service told me that the rod diameter varies but they would send me one, and charge $2.50 each for any additional sizes! I told them I would buy my own tip and repair it-- some customer service-- I am done with Falcon.

Comments: That's why I never buy fishing stuff at Walmart :)
Comments: I had two spinning rods break in one week so I needed a quick replacement for the weekend events. I noticed they sold these at Walmart so I grabbed this rod and the 6'6" rod with out really examining them. After the weekend was over I finally had a chance to look at the rods and could not believe what I found. I would be embarrassed if I was Falcon. The spine taper of both rods were out of alignment with the guides. The 7' rod was aligned 90 degrees off and the 6'6" rod was out about 45 degrees. The fighting butt is cheap as they come on this rod. Everything else is actually pretty nice. Great balance, nice guides, really light, average blank. I took these back to Walmart with no questions asked after a weekend of use.
