Falcon Cara T7 McClelland Signature Micro Casting Rods - $238.88 to $249.99
Proudly made in the USA
BASS Elite Series veteran pro and multiple event winner, Mike McClelland, teamed up with Falcon to design the Falcon Cara T7 McClelland Signature Series Micro Guide Casting Rods. Featuring technique-specific actions and tapers perfectly suited to some of his favorite bass fishing applications, the series also includes premium micro guide technology. The combination of Falcon's ultra sensitive Cara graphite blanks and Fuji Micro Guides greatly decreases weight, increases sensitivity even further, and also provides better load distribution for optimum rod curvature. Additionally, the Micro Guides help neutralize the issue of line tangles, thanks in part to two non-fouling stripper micro guides closest to the reel, and they also help increase casting distance and accuracy.
Split Grip handles with premium cork grips help balance out each rod, and the fore grip was removed as well for greater sensitivity transfer. A Fuji Blank Exposed Reel Seat rounds out the premium features, and provides a strong base for your reel. Offering the performance and features McClelland uses to excel on the Elite Series, the Falcon Cara T7 McClelland Signature Series Micro Guide Casting Rods deliver tournament proven performance.

Comments: 7'4 heavy tried this rod for heavier jigs, frogs, some punching. Micro guides seriously reduced casting distance so much so that I couldn't get decent distance with 30lb braid. I used a backup rod when this started which was an all star 6'6 and was able to double my distance on the exact same reel with the exact same brake settings.

Comments: great rod I love it. It is much lighter and stronger with a bit stouter tip on the 7'2 and use it to flip light weight stuff like senkos and worms and tubes but I highly recommend getting this rod. Can't wait to fish with it for a whole day this weekend.
