Falcon Cara T7 Split Grip Casting Rods - $189.99 to $224.99
Proudly made in the USA
The inspiration for the Falcon Cara T7 rods comes from the evolving techniques and increasing demands of bass tournament professionals. They are individually designed to solve the technical requirements of properly casting and retrieving various artificial lure, in a variety of demanding situations, including pitching, flipping, drop-shotting, finesse fishing, and heavy structure and vegetation.
The Falcon Cara T7 Split Grip handles provide at least four advantages to the angler over a conventional grip-
-Less rod Weight,
-Better Casting Control,
-Increased Forearm-to-blank sensitivity,
-And more mechanical advantage.
The rod extension, resting against the anglers forearm, provides leverage to pull big fish from deep water, out of thick grass, and away from structure. To protect the handle at the bottom, where is is most vulnerable, Falcon has capped the butt of the A-grade Portuguese cork with a durable rubber-cork composite

Comments: I'm with ricky on this one, folks. I loved the falcon rods i had, but the same thing happened to me with a head turner. The butt of the blank split on me during a cast, and they refused to honor the warranty. They even expected me to pay to ship the broken rod back to me after i refused to pay the $100+ to replace it. I promptly sold all my falcon rods and will never buy another.

Comments: Sent a Head turner back for warranty, freind told me that Company would not cover the problem. He was right. They wanted $100.00 to replace it. they said it was damaged,no explaintion. It was not damaged in any way. I usually refer about 50 to 75 customers to Falcon ,not any more.

Comments: I own multiple brands of top-end rods (Lamiglas, Loomis, St Croix), and there isn't one of them that comes close to the quality/sensitivity of the Cara Split grips I own. The 6'10 Finesse Jig rod is by far the best rod I own. Great for small swimbaits, crankbaits, t-rigs, dropshot--and of course smaller jigs. You can feel EVERYTHING with this rod. Extremely light with a fast tip, but plenty of backbone for those longer casts. Spend the money and get one, you will be happy you did!!!

Comments: Just recently purchased the 7'3"heavy Amistad rod and just amazed at the strength and sensitivity. No problems pulling the pigs out of the salad on the Potomac.

Comments:The 7'2 Reaction Series Swim Jig rod is the best lightwire football head jig rod I have found. It has the perfect action to work little jigs like Bass Patrols football jigs. The 6'10 T7 rods are hard to beat, but I put this one up there as one of my favorite rods of all time.

Comments:I got the Cara 7'3" Heavy action and I immediately took it to Sam Rayburn and caught several bass between 2-4 lbs. and the rod performed remarkably. I was extremely satisfied with the sensitivity. I could feel every little movement that my lure made, and even though the wind was howling and the boat was rocking really bad I was able to distinguish when a fish would bite. I give Falcon two thumbs up on this excellent rod. And the price was very much worth it. I would definitely recommend this rod to anyone.

Comments:I would fish nothing else. When considering their price, weight, strength and tremendous feel, I have been nothing but satisfied. Their customer service is also impeccable, a great American rod company.

Comments:I have used Falcon Rods for a long time and have always had good luck with them. They are light and VERY strong. I use the Head Turner, which is the 6'10" heavy action rod, everyday on the water. Pitching is effortless with this rod. The Weightless Worm rod is perfect for just what it says. I throw trick worms weightless a lot and this rod lets me cast them far and have enough power to use heavier line. On my casting deck there are always Falcon Caras and Powell rods. Both of them have never let me down.
