Comments: I have the 7' "Big Cranker" model, which is great for throwing large crankbaits and Carolina Rigs. This is a great rod for the $$. You can throw Carolina rigs a mile!! These aren't the most sensitive blanks, but they are quality rods that work well for hard baits. The 6'6" "Herm" is good for lipless crankbaits or spinnerbaits. Great value for the $$$.

Comments: I have 3 7 ft MH rods and boy will i be buying more Falcon Original rods. Excellent rod. Definitely has a strong backbone. The MH is a true medium heavy, and may even lean more towards the heacy side of the rod spectrum. All around great rod and brand of rods. Cant praise Falcon enough.

Comments: i have a 6'6 mh original paired with a daiwa zillion and it handles great for all fishing. Iv even accidentally snagged a 19 lb spoonbill on a crankbait even after being snagged on a pile-on and landed it with no problems. Absolute awesome rod.

Comments: Caught my largest smallie to date on this rod using a swim jig. it was 19"
Comments: nothing compares in this price range... Not even close. Falcon still builds them like the used to. Made in the US of A
Comments: This is a very nice rod it has great back bone for flippin and froggin the pads and mats, but is also pretty sensitive for finess stuff.

Comments: For the price, this rod cannot be beat. have the 6'6" MH very versatile and can do any technique minus only a few very good.
Comments: I just started using the 7' heavy for both flipping and swimjig applications. I will most likely start using nothing but this rod for ALL my needs. Light weight, strong back bone, great feeling cork handle. I fish every day and can notice a world of difference in both less physical strain in my wrists and upper arms. BUY THIS ROD!

Comments: I got a 6'6" medium as a freebie thanks to one careless angler and the reservoir dropping for the winter to reveal it. Bought a diawa tierra for it on ebay and ended up with a $230 combo for only $41. I'm a big from-shore river crankbait fisherman depending on the time of year and the smallie bite. Absolutely love this rod for throwing some squarebills. Like one comment says, it is soft, but for that reason it's easy on your wrists! I have had no problems at all swinging three pounders up and over the 5 foot bank.

Comments: No better rod for the money than this one. Extremely light, well balanced, and strong. I use the 7' heavy for froggin' and pitching for bass, and on northern pike applications as well here in Minnesota. This rod is just excellent at any price point.
From: Kealon: MN
Comments: Light, fast and well ballanced. Could be the best and lightest rod for the money out there. I have 6. Sold my St.Croixs. Nose heavy.
From: George: Maine
Comments: I bought the 6'6" medium action for cranking back in 2006, and I did not like the action of the rod; too soft. Unfortunately, one has to fish w/ a new rod before deciding whether the rod works for them. I missed so many fish that I switched back to my older St. Croix medium, which has more backbone.
From: John: Lexington, KY
Comments: What a rod it is way lighter then the Skeet Reese Rods and has great action I love these rods why did I not find falcon alot earlier. If you are looking for a great rod at a great price you owe it to yourself to give these a shot.
