The Fenwick Elite Tech Smallmouth Spinning Rods are the culmination of over 50 years of rod building experience, quality components, and input from some of the best smallmouth anglers from around the country. Extremely lightweight with the power to tame angry smallmouth, the Elite Tech high modulus graphite blanks were designed specifically for smallmouth fishing with the perfect actions and tapers to cast light baits and the sensitivity to feel more bites. New titanium frame guides with Zirconium inserts help reduce overall rod weight, as well as, wear and tear on your line, and advanced TAC inlay reel seats provide the ultimate in comfort and function. The reel seats' new "hidden handle" design with TAC inlay means your hands aren’t rubbing against the reel seat threads and won’t get slippery in adverse conditions. Perfect for smallmouth applications, the Fenwick Elite Tech Smallmouth Spinning Rods have what it takes to tackle all species of bass.

Comments: Haved fished the 69MXF for about two years now, and this rod is AWESOME. Light, sensitive, and suprisingly tough. Good value for the price. I liked it so much I bought another.

Comments: Bought the 6'9" MXF use it mostly for dropshotting. Very light and very sensitive. There is never a doubt if a fish is biting or not. Only complaint is the epoxy work is sloppy but overall great rod for the price. Very happy with it so far.

Comments: I have the 6'9 ML and have went to it almost exclusively for all my river floats and wet wading. We will run into smallmouth up to 4lb on light line. Small flukes, tubes, grubs, and worms rigged in a variety of ways dominate our presentations. Light and sensitive. Comfortable and balanced. Great rod.

Comments: Absolutely love the 7'4" MF rod. Use it for drop shotting on big water (Erie, Ontario, Simcoe) & it is sensitive to detect subtle bites with plenty of power to make light work of big fish. Best value when paired with a Pflueger Supreme XT or Patriarch reel. No issue with handle at all. Partners who try this set-up just LOVE it!
From: John: Mississauga, ON

Comments: Got the 6'9" ML. It is a great little rod. Love the reel seat. Casts well. This is a great action for small jerkbaits, topwater, small cranks, and overall finesse fishing techniques. Paired with a Shimano Stradic CI4 this can't be beat for the price.
From: Kirk: Crossville, TN
Comments: Super light blank and ultra sensitive. The only issue I have is the handle, the bottom part should be stronger, it will crack if you put a normal amount of pressure on it, I hope Fenwick keeps the rod blank but redesigns the handle.
