Comments: I just got the rod with my order and all I can say is WOW. I got the 7' M and it is about the same as my 7' MH Daiwa Laguna. The tip of this rod is sorta stiff like the Laguna but it the tip isn't really flimsy. The TAC material on the handles provides extra grip and the finish is amazing. Paired this up with a Shimano Sahara 2500FD and it is amazingly balanced. Spooled it up with 8lb fluoro for drop shotting, wack worm, etc. (Finesse fishing)Going to take it up to Lake George for some smallie action!

Comments: Fenwick HMX Spinning Rod 7.0' Medium. I bass fish in Montana which is not so popular and have several rods. Bought this one recently as my Abu Veritas Medium Heavy is great but a little too stick and lacking sensitivity for worm fishing. It's great for cranks, spinners, and frog fishing but this HMX felt really nice for worm fishing mono or flouro. I have it paired with a Quantum KT30 and would say a great combination. Granted this medium from Fenwick would be more like a medium lite from Abu or others so you might consider medium heavy if you want something slightly more stiff.
