Fishbelly Helix Ninja Buzzbait
The Fishbelly Helix Ninja is a super charged Helix Buzz with highly tuned color blade. Each Fishbelly Helix Ninja is fitted with a colored hook from Gamakatsu. Like the Helix Buzz, it generates the right action in propelling the lure up the surface to attract more strike. The patented blade, lifts the bait when the blade begins to spin. With this blade, the angler can cast farther with accuracy even with the wind blowing without fear. This patented design is far superior than your typical buzz bait. The head is molded sideways and has 3D eyes to help attract more fish.

Comments: fish will hit them but they are hard to get hooked up. I've missed more fish than ive caught. The hooks on these are crap. 1 of them the hook broke off right at the skirt and the oter one i caught one fish and i couldnt get it to work right after that because it bent it so bad...but with a little minor tweeking it would be top of the line buzzbait...

Comments: This Buzz Bait is phenomenal. In the matter of 20 minutes I had 6 hits and landed 2 bass! In really deep water. It keeps on top of the water very easy and creates a great ripple and great sound. I strongly recommend this bait.

Comments: @Jon: Memphis - Fishbelly honors its replacement policy if defect found in its product with a proof of the purchasing receipt along with the "defective" product with a new replacement. Always has and always will. Without proof of purchase and the "defective" product, one could be looking to get a freebie without a purchase.

Comments: I bought three of these baits after readint the reviews. Haven't had that much time to test them out because the blade bends so easily that once its bent chunk it. Couldn't get them to run right no matter how I tried to bend it to reform it. I contacted the company to see if I could get a new blade and got no reply. So If you get one treat it as fragile because it is and its no good if the blade bends.

Comments: I love the design of the head however this blade is somewhat useless. It is VERY subtle. I am a firm believer in throwing a 1/4 buzz bait early in the am, then upping it to a a 3/8 or 1/2 oz as the chop picks up. This blade is more subtle then a 1/4 oz. If you want subtle, its great. If you throw this thing in ANY bit of chop it will not get noticed and not get hit. I have a few, but I have switched out all of the blades for traditional buzz bait blades. For $12 bucks it is not worth the gimmicky blade. Get something cheaper and better. Booyah pip-squeak is worth its weight in gold.

Comments: If I had to rate this on a scale of 1 to 5 , i'd give it a 1, thats all the use you are going to get out of it. one 2lb smallie and it was destroyed, all bent to hell, unuseable. Oh it worked didn't take 5 minutes and fish on, just couldn't use it again, and there was NO fixing it.

Comments:First time out with the Ninja I caught almost 20 bass before 8:00 am including a 7.02 monster. Comes through the water different than other buzz baits. Real quiet but still moves water. Had to tweak the blade on one of them but other than that I am totally sold.

Comments:This Buzz Bait truly unique. It is best described as the shakey head of the Buzz Bait Family. By this I mean it is truly a finesse Buzz Bait and works best on high pressured fish or ultra clear water. The bait has a very subtle action relative to a typical Buzz Bait, cuts through the water like a knife and really does cast like nothing else in the wind. I can only guess it works so well because it is such a different look for the fish. What ever the reason it definately crushes em.

Comments:WOW! Man, talk about restoring an anglers faith in buzzbaits! This baby calls in fish from the deep. I live on a fresh water canal, and if I'm not out on my boat, I'm fishing 24/7 out in my backyard, so I went back out there late at night, and gave it another try, working it slow, all of a sudden 'SLAM' a 4 lb. Largemouth nearly ripped my St. Croix out of my hand! Plus, he twisted it up pretty good, but this buzzer is real easy to adjust for use in any conditions. I bought the black and red w/red blade, and it is lethal at night. I'm gonna' get another color for clear water, daytime use. Expensive, but worth every penny!
