Comments: I have had this net many years and it is very high quality. yes it can be stubborn to open and close (sometimes) however if your fishing a big money tournament and loose fish that cost you money perhaps keep it open during the tournament would prevent this. yes treble hooks get stuck in this net but that's any net that's not rubber and rubber wont fold. as far as i have found no other net stows away as nice as this and still works as good.

Comments: Great net - I've had mine for 10 years or more, and it's still going strong.  Has landed dozens of bass 5 pounds and over.  Never had any issues with it.  About to purchase another for my son for his boat.

Comments: Had this net for 2 years.  I would not buy again.  It is tuff to close but thats not the biggest issue.  When deploying it in a hurry the whole thing just comes apart.  The handle seems to just fly off the end the net and parts all fall apart.  Poor design.  I have had to net many fish with just holding the floppy part as the pole was on the deck.

Comments: I just purchased this Frabill Hubert -net while in a Pro-Bass store while busing a friend out there.  Been looking for a while for a net that can be stored away that had a folding net. Was happy to find this one and bought it. When I got it back to my place and put it onto my boat I realized that the handle is too large in Diamater to fit in the rod holders and any other area on my center console boat that holds gaffs and etc. Cannot comprehend what they were thinking when designing this nice large net to not have it fit into rod holders which every fisher does when fishing and keeps net ready to go. Now it is a pain to return because 2 hour drive from where I purchased item.

Comments: I have been using this net for 8+ years. Actually this is my third one. They don't float which is not their problem. I fish Lake Fork Tx and have easily netted fish hundreds of fish up to 11.89 pounds. It opens and closes as advertised. If you have trouble with this Net simply replace the nut on the handle and your problems will be over.
Great Product!

Comments: Good Concept poor product. The net has to be flipped a certain way to stow. Opening and closing this net is a chore. Having to constantly cut treble hooks out of the net. Save your money.

Comments: I've had mine for 7 years and still going strong.  My Son and I have put this net to work time and time again and I cannot ever remember a time where it cost us a fish.  If it had, it would probably be at the bottom of the lake in that very same spot. Here's what you need to know.  Sometimes you will get treble hooks entangled (it's a net after all). Occasionally it'll get snagged on itself when you're stowing it (NEVER WHEN DEPLOYING IT) and you have to open it up and start over.  That will cost you maybe 10-15 seconds.  That's about it.  Being able to have a long net that I can keep stowed out of the way more than makes up for the rare times that it acts up. Buy two rubber clamps (like what you stow your stern light in) and mount them under your seats and you'll have the perfect home for it!

Comments: Seems like a great net at first, but definitely don't waste your money. This net cost me $5000 recently in a tournament when my non boater couldn't open it because it was jammed and I lost the $$$ fish next to the boat. Never again in a tourney. Better off with a simple $10 net that won't fail.

Comments: I recieved my Hiber-Net in three days after purchasing amd couldn't be anymore happier with this product. At first it seemed a little rough to ope  at first, but with a tiny bit of lube (do t over lube) it worked fantastic.  Nice having a net that can easily be stored out of way and deploy when needed! Made very strong and feels like it will last quite a while. However I have had a few hooks tangle but what net out there won't tagle. I mean seriously if your a true tournament angler I reccomened this product amd proud to put my name on this review. "ARMY BASS ANGLER" SGT Montoya

Comments: Good concept but a waste of money.  I had to cut the netting two different times to get treble hooks out. don't waste your $.

From: Chris: TX

Comments: I do like the net, however  trebels tangle alot!

From: Bill: Colorado, USA

Comments: I love the net but I am on my 2nd and this one is not working properly either. Both have developed an issue with closing properly. You can still force it closed but its a pain, but I continue to use it. Good product it just needs a better design.
