Overview

Whether you’re targeting bass, trout, or panfish, the Freedom Tackle Minnow Spoon delivers a combination of flash, one-of-a-kind action, and baitfish appeal that all species find appetizing. Designed around a high-quality metal spoon, the Freedom Tackle Minnow Spoon features a metal shaft running vertically through the body.

Highly reactive, the Freedom Tackle Minnow Spoon can be worked with a number of retrieves to draw strikes, including a quick, attention-grabbing jerk and a slow stop-and-go. On the drop, the Freedom Tackle Minnow Spoon delivers a slow-falling flutter and an abundance of bite-inducing flash.

On the top and bottom of the shaft, the Freedom Tackle Minnow Spoon is fitted with a metal bead and a glass bead that bang against the blade to create a unique underwater acoustic. Armed with chemically-sharpened, black nickel trebles, the Freedom Tackle Minnow Spoon delivers a highly-individualized presentation that will put a wide-range of species in the boat.

Comments: Thump up monster largemouth bass using the 5" Freedom Tackle Minnow Spoon.  Casting at surfacing fish, most of the larger beast roam deeper picking up scraps, this is when this lure really shines.  Gliding down through the baitfish, it wobbles while shaking back and forth.  When the spoon reaches a depth below the school, thump, pop, or rip the rod tip back to the boat.  This makes a "tick" sound that captures the predators attention.  Make sure not to fish to deep.  This is only done through trial and error.  Good electronics will help, but the fall rate is determined by line size.  Use a medium / heavy rod for good strike indication and always be a line watcher.  Those light bites are trophy fish.

Comments: No one is talking about these and I am not sure why. I know only a little. Perhaps it will be enough to get people looking at these lures. The minnow spoon  is shaped like a spoon on one side (down) so it falls erratically. The line tie is on the other side forward of center rather in the front like most spoon. The result is a hard vibration more like lipless crankbait but more intense still. I have not fished this; just tried it out on the water a few times. I think it is worth a try, especially when the fish are tight on the bottom as they often are in rivers and lakes as it gets cold or after a cold front. That intense wiggle on the lift makes it easy to keep the bait fairly close to the bottom and still get plenty of attraction
