Freedom Tackle Zodiac Hybrid Jig 2pk
An impressive new addition to the always-innovative lineup from Freedom Tackle, the Zodiac Hybrid Jig utilizes the “Tamburro Twist” hook connection to provide a jig head that’s full of action. The hook swings freely behind the head and can easily be switched out depending on your settings and conditions. The proprietary connection is housed inside of a brass echo chamber that generates an attractive acoustic pitch throughout the water. The unique design and additional hooks also allow for a weedless presentation and an enhanced action when deflected off of debris or structure. In addition, fish are not able to use the jig as leverage when trying to shake loose, which results in more fish landed. Offered in a number of colors and sizes, the Freedom Tackle Zodiac Hybrid Jig is another great example of the inventive drive that keeps the fishing industry continuously marching forward.

Comments: Good lure, great idea. Excellent for heavy cover + thick weeds and such. The connection between head and hook is closer than the Mustad fastach, which helps when switching to smaller baits. My experience with their customer service was GREAT. After many casts and many fish around rocks and timber, one of the zodiac heads had chipped paint and lost an eye. I emailed the company with the pros + cons--the owner called me back. I had a replacement within days. Yes, they're a young company and working out some kinks, but the lures catch fish and the essential parts are tough. My experience with them definitely won me over. I've mostly used them for creature baits, grubs and a few swimbaits. I'll probably try more combos this year.

Comments: I've had these Zodiacs for quite a few months now and really have had great times using them. I've been using the Chartreuse 1/4oz head with a Zoom Fat Albert Pearl Grub during the morning hours. Catching these landlocked Stripers during winter months was unheard of around these parts, until now. Next will be trying the Black head at night with a blk and blue Grub. So many options, so many ways to use them for many species of fish.
