Comments: I got to fish with one if these a couple weeks ago can't wait to get enough money to order one. Sweet rods.
Comments: to those concerned about the lock dwon nut on these. this is NOT THE SAME as the nrx. the reel seats on these are one piece.the threads for the lock down nuts on the nrx rods are epoxied to the blank and not atached to the reel seat. the glx reel seat and threads for the lockdown nut is all one assembly. all of the problems i had with the nrx had to do with the epoxy for the threads of the lock down nut not holding. so far the glx'x have been solid. hope this helps

Comments: Got myself an 854 and it was worth every penny! I couple it with a Revo Premier (Gen3) and it's one of the baddest combos out there. So sensitive, light and jaw-breaking power!

Comments: I will get this rod! Picked one up at bass pro and gooooooooood lord, ff I was over 7ft tall it would've went down my pants and out the door! But unfortunately it looks like I'll be having to cough up the money for this bad boy. I'm not even worried about if its gonna be worth it or not b/c from what i felt I know it will be. :) Good job Shimano, keep up the good work. ;)

Comments: Best Jig rod made. Light and well Balanced. You can feel grains of sand on the bottom. If you invest in only one expensive rod, ever, this should be the one.
