G. Loomis IMX Swimbait and Umbrella Rig Casting Rods - $294.99 to $314.99
One of G. Loomis’ most popular rod series has returned. Thanks to major improvements in IMX technology and new concepts in rod design, the new G. Loomis IMX Swimbait and Umbrella Rig Casting Rods are now up to 15% lighter than the original IMX. Noticeably more sensitive as well, you can almost feel the fish watch your bait, and with an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, they have power like you wouldn’t believe.
Offering technique specific performance like only G. Loomis can provide, years of testing and refinement went into the design of each model. This means you can toss swimbaits, big or small with ease and feel subtle bites, or chuck chandeliers all-day with minimal fatigue and haul in multiple fish at once. New, slender ergonomic handles also provide even more comfort and control, and Fuji K-Frame Guides offer incredible durability and also protect the tip section from braided line wrap. It’s hard to improve on an original, but G. Loomis has done it with the the G. Loomis IMX Swimbait and Umbrella Rig Casting Rods.

Comments: I purchased the Heavy 915C UBR and went on a guided trip on Pickwick. We tossed A-rigs for about 6 hours. I am an older guy with bad wrist and this rod was amazing. It made fishing that day very comfortable. I pretty much let the rod tip throw the rig. It launch the rig a long way and the day after my wrist did not hurt at all! The guide (who does this as all the time) tried this rod. He handed it back after about 30 minutes and said "this thing is so smooth, I better give it back to you before I have to go buy me one". This guy had several other name brand rods in his boat that he and his customers use for A-rigs so I would say he has had several. I was wanting to get on a large strip to see how it performed under pressure. I did land a 4 lb. smallie and it handle him just fine.

Comments: nice rod. Feels great.. throw deps 250 with it ok. Only down fall is the handle length but besides that rod feels great. Already stuck a few fish on it while picking it up from tacklewarehouse. Sensitive rod with a nice taper
