G. Loomis Mag Bass GL3 Casting Rods

$235.00 - $240.00

If you're looking at this page it's because you're a bass fisherman. Every bass fisherman wants to catch more fish. Whether you fish for fun, for food or for money, owning a Loomis rod can only make you better. When you see Mag Bass you know you're buying a rod built to catch more bass. Light tip sections allow more control of the lure for more accurate casts, and they allow the rod to "load up", or flex the right amount, to give more distance with less effort. It also means tough, magnum butt sections for hooksetting and fish fighting power without sacrificing sensitivity or control. When you see GL3 you know you will be getting lightweight, sensitive, responsive graphite that will allow you to feel the things you can't see, namely what's on the bottom of the lake. Here's your chance to own a rod with Loomis's legendary sensitivity and light weight for a very reasonable price. Try a GL3 and you'll discover why so many people buy Loomis.

Customer Reviews

Comments: Many years ago the GLoomis GL3 series rods were my first high performance bass rods.  I still use my old, original seven foot GL3 843MH and 844H rods as beaters for guests.  These rods have been used for close combat bass fishing in heavy cover conditions in GA and FL.  Cosmetically, they now look battered, but  continue to put big fish in the boat.  Reasonably sensitive and more durable than IMX graphite, GL3 rods are a great intro to high performance bass fishing even today.

Comments: DUDE...please tell me you got the fish skeleton tat on not just GLoomis on your back! ANyways...GL3 is a great way to get into the loomis world. I have the 7'H and its a workhorse. Blades, jigs, and bigger worms, and in a pinch, you can frog with it. I think the 6'6"MH would be a great all around blade rod that could double for worms.
