Mag Bass is Loomis's way of telling you that the rod in your hand has been designed for bass fishing or bass fishing or ...maybe something else if you're so inclined. Longer than their CR series rods, Mag Bass rods offer a light, easy casting tip section that provides incredible casting accuracy and distance, and a magnum tapered butt section that provides maximum hooksetting and fish fighting power. These rods, built with GLX graphite technology that has never been exceeded, are the lightest, most responsive and most sensitive rods built by perhaps the most famous rod maker in America. You'll be able to "see" the bottom of the lake with your hand as you drag the lure through sand, mud or brush. When the bass picks it up, no matter how light, you'll feel it.
