The new MossyBack Jig&Worm casting rods were developed with one thing in mind...Power. These rods are made with a special blend of graphite and designed with the same tapers giving them the same great actions of the G.Loomis line. The G.Loomis MossyBack rods feature AFTCO Alconite guides for added durablity. The fast taper and quick rod tip allows for accurate casts in and around tight cover. Power fishing has specific needs and these rods will not only give you the strength and durability desired but the confidence needed to land big bass hooked in dense structure. The G.Loomis MossyBack rods come in actions designed for jigs, worms, senkos, and carolina rigs.

Comments: Bought the 6'8 medium rod as my plastic rod a few years back. Have it paired with a revo stx and is a great combo. I have broke it once when loomis was not paired with shimano and now i hear the horror stories from friends returning broken rods. Loomis is unmatched quality but the NRX for 500$ i think id rather build a custom rod for that money. This is a great rod just be careful with it

Comments:I got the BCR853 (7'1" MH) for fishing senkos, and weightless plastics! First trip with the reel I landed a 10lb HAWG (fishing Lake "O"). This reel has plenty of power, and boy is it ever light weight! Balanced perfectly with an Ardent XS1000. Also a VERY sensitive rod! Never had anything that comes close the sensitivity of this rod! I previously fished with Falcon (cara) and G.loomis GL3s When I'm fishing my senko around reeds and coon tail and other grasses, I can EASILY discern one kind of cover from the other, and fish from cover. Perfect taper as well! Casts are as accurate as everything with this rod! Very had any rod as good as this one. Not too bad of a price either!

Comments:This is an awesome rod, I have the 6'8" MH model with an extra fast tip. I use it for light Texas rigs, finesse jigs, shakey heads, and drop shots. It has a nice soft tip so I can feel every bump, and enough backbone to yank bass out of grass. This is my first G. Loomis rod, its well worth the money. I will be buying more.

BCR663. A very compact, all around casting rod for fishing light to medium- heavy jigs and worm rigs in close quarters where casting room is a concern. It's a fairly powerful rod with enough tip to accurately zip baits in heavy cover. It has an extra-fast tip which provides excellent line and lure control, plus it has the punch to pull a fish away from heavy cover if necessary.
