G. Loomis NRX Spinning Rod Green - $500.00 to $575.00
Now available in a classic green finish, the new G.Loomis NRX Green Spinning Rods deliver the same performance as the originals with a new style all their own. Featuring G.Loomis' next advancement in graphite rod technology - the NRX Green Series Spinning Rods are the result of the exclusive NRX construction method, which is completely unique in rod manufacturing, and allows G.Loomis to make the NRX Series at least 15% lighter than similar GLX rods, and up to 20% stronger and more impact resistant as well. By utilizing stiffer, lighter and higher density carbon married with Nano Silica resin systems, the NRX rods can be lighter - yet more durable, extremely sensitive - and yet stiffer. Light 'ticks' turn into thumps, and anglers can easily feel the difference between their lure dragging across silt, gravel and ridges - even at 60-feet. Offering the best at every level in terms of graphite, resins, and components - you've never felt rods with this much life.
All NRX rods also feature G.Loomis' unique Hybrid Guide System, which combines the strategic placement of both Fuji Titanium-Framed SIC Guides and REC Recoil Black Ion-coated, Nickel-Titanium Guides from the stripper to the tip. The stiffer Fuji guides, closest to the reel seat, offer more sensitivity transfer to the angler, along with moving weight back to butt section and helping to balance out the rod, while the REC Guides are extremely small and lightweight, so as not to impede casting and retrieving performance. An exclusive, proprietary Skeletonized Reel Seat also keeps the angler’s finger truly in contact with the blank, while providing a sturdy, ergonomic base for the reel. Manufactured in the USA, like all G.Loomis rods, the G.Loomis NRX Green Spinning Rods provide anglers with the most dynamic, lightweight and sensitive rods G. Loomis has ever created.
Comments: Wow, I have some very nice rods from St. Croix like the Legend Elites and some other Loomis rods like the IMX and Gl3's, but nothing even comes close to this rod. This rod is truly a rocket ship when it come to casting and the most sensitive and light rod I have ever owned. You can feel a fish breath on your lure. It has taken my jig and Senko fishing to a whole new level. After 45 years of fishing it takes a lot to impress me and this rod has really impressed me. It was tough decision to pull the trigger on this one and pay the big bucks, but it was well worth the investment in my opinion. Your Editor reviews were right on the money and if anything a little conservative.

Comments: When you can close your eyes and fish and feel everything you start forgetting how much the rod cost and wondering why you dont have 6 more? G Loomis has done something super special. It really is like cheating when fishing a jig or worm.

Comments: This rod is a very good bass fishing rod ! It is incredibly light and weighs less than 100 grams. I'm using a Steez 2508 on it and couldn't be happier ! I like it much better than my steez rod. I did have one of the titanium eyes come completly out though after my first fishing trip and had to get it replaced. Also the should have put more effort into the style though. It doesn't look like a $500 rod at all.
