G. Loomis Swimbait Rods

$300.00 - $315.00

Largemouth bass thrive in WEEDY lakes, holding in and around thick brush and sunken debris. It's believed they choose these spots for protection and food forage; however, recent evidence indicates that, in reality, they just think it's really FUNNY watching you break off lure after lure. Our "ol' mossy back" line up: FIVE different rod categories with a total of over eighty different rods designed to cover every possible method, bait, lure and technique used to catch largemouths, bronzebacks, spots and kentucks. It doesn't matter if your tossing big TOPWATER plugs for oversized bucketmouths or the tiniest jig to those pesky brown bass, your perfect bass rod is here. All you have to do is fit the TECHNIQUE you prefer to the rod-use descriptions you'll find below.

Customer Reviews

Comments: I purchased the 904 about a year ago to fish smaller swimbaits from 1-2.25 ounces and I couldn't believe how well this rod would cast smaller lures as well as larger lures. The tip has a perfect parabolic tip that allowed me to land some big fish that were barely hooked. biggest LM bass being 8.37 and it handled it with no problem. I love this rod so much I bought two.
Don't hesitate to buy these.

Comments: I bought this rod to replace one that I lost overboard, a long story. So I had the opportunity to buy any rod I wanted as my main swimbait rod, my other long standing favorite being a G. Loomis BBR 965C with a Calcutta 400. I wanted one a little lighter and generally use 3/4 - 1 1/2 oz. lead heads. I fished this rod the first time yesterday and won my club's Calico Bass tournament with three fish at 7.66 lbs. All caught on the new rod with the Diawa Lexa 300 High speed I matched it with. The combo casted great and I'm stoked.
