Comments: I bought the 7'10", MH model for deep crankbaits up to about an ounce. This rod is very light and casts bigger cranks a country mile. It's very sensitive and has a perfect parabolic bend. Best deep crank rod I've ever used, a huge upgrade from my old 7'10" BPS Crankin' Stick. I paired it with a Curado200I 5.5:1 baitcaster and it's the ultimate deep crank combo.

Comments: My BPS 7'10" crankin stick broke and I needed a quick replacement so I purchased the same length halo cranking rod. I was surprised by how light it was and how much further I was able to cast my dd22 and spro dds. This thing is much more sensitive. I guess it's because of the micro guides. I've only been able to get out on a limited basis since I purchased my halo rod, but I am extremely pleased with it for deep cranking down here in the old quarry puts of south Florida.

Comments: I was thinking of purcahsing the 7"4 MH Crankin rod but since it is a MH, I am worried that the tip of the rod wont be soft enough for lippless and squarebills. Let me know if this is an issue for any of you who own this rod

Comments: Im a high end rod guy and was very skeptical about buying this rod, I got the deep cranking rod specifically for throwing 10xd and 6th sense 500s. I must say this rod absolutely launches these cranks! This is an Extremely sensitive rod as well, you will feel every pebble and rock you hit! it loads up very well on bass and most importantly keeps them pinned! Hands down best rod for the extra deep cranks

Comments: I recently just picked up the 7'4" Cranking rod after having a credit from TW from a previous cranking rod breaking. I decided to go with the Halo because I was anxious to try one after all the hype about them. I will say that the rod I had a credit for breaking, was the brand new lucky craft deep cranking rod. This halo is all the rod the lucky lasted for (less then 20 casts) and more. I am very impressed with this Halo. I was able to get a few deep crankbait bites on a Lucky Craft D20 yesterday with my first day using the rod paired with a lews BB1 (5:1:). I will be switching over from my Abu rods (which also had a veritas break on me) to the Halo's. You cant go wrong with these rods. The feel, and look is amazing for the price tag. I feel these rods are under priced (but im not complaining!)

Comments: Purchased this rod for deep cranks. Got the 7'10" MH model and it is perfect! Will launch a SK 6XD and has a great soft tip and plenty of backbone. Can't beat the price for the quality of the rod.
