Comments: Got my 7'11 xtra heavy when i took the rod out of the package everything looked good the next day my reel arrived and i spooled it with 80lb power pro after casting in my pond a few times i noticed something felt really rough when i reeled i took it in checked the yes and found the last eye on the rod had a bur in it which i was able to pull on the line and break 80lb braid hope this is not a common problem as the rod seems very nice

Comments: I love these rods I have 2 of them with no problems to report. I have caught numerous 5+ pounders including one over 6lbs that I had to winch out from under a dock. No problem excellent rod would highly recommend very sensitive. Hope to buy more in the future, worth every penny.

Comments: I've had my Halo flipping stick for almost 1 year now and absolutely love it. Im gonna buy another one but was told to check the review first. I was really curious about the bad reviews about broken rods cuz I have no issue at all. I did not understand until I checked the video that guy put online and all the comments. The guy had a good halo rod boat flipped a few giants including a 9lber until he got sponsored by another rods company. That was the story.

Comments: I love halo rods and there rod guides I broke two halo rods already one for bout 8 months old and one for about few weeks old I hope they come up with better rod blanks then what they are using now I think it's too hollow out the walls are to thin.

Comments: Scratch that review i posted below 4 months ago... I still agree that the rod is a gorgeous work of art, they really do make a good looking rod, Performance wise is alright aswell, i boated some good fish on this rod within the 4 months i owned it including a 9lber. Where this rod fails is its durability. During a tournament last weekend i set the hook on a fish while flipping some K-grass. The rod Shattered into 4 pieces.. not even kidding with you. The rod was only 4 months old and it just completely blew up in my hand on a 10 inch fish. The rod wasnt abused either, i take very good care and handle all my tackle carefully. If you would like to see the video on it happening look it up on youtube, search for "Halo Rod Snapped"

Comments: Just got my 7'6 heavy in from tackle warehouse. For starters, when I pulled the rod out of the shipping tube, it was almost like I didn't even have it in my hand! Man this thing is light! The blank is straight as a arrow, the guides look strong and straight. Feels like it has good backbone to get fish out of heavy cover. The overall finish is excellent. I will be purchasing more halo rods!
