Comments: I have 2 of these rods and they have no mechanical problems, but I personally was not pleased with the rods. I use spinning rods for finesse tactics and these rods have very thick blanks and are unsensitive. They are perfect for the angler who would like to throw reaction baits on spinning rods, but for me that is not how I fish. If you are looking for a good halo rod I would go with baitcasting they are much better for what they are meant to do.

Comments: I Puchased the 6'-6 spinning rod for spotted bass here om Lake Lanier. I have a penn fierce reel with 8 lb mono and typically throw shaky heads and exposed hook jig heads on finesse worm. The taper seems to be mostly parabolic in the the rod bends from tip to base when fighting a fish. Works we'll protecting the line on these hard pulling spots.
