Used by Bassmaster Elite Series veteran and Bassmaster Classic winner, Michael “Ike” Iaconelli, the Hatcams Hands-Free Video Recording System provides users, like Ike, with a means of filming situations that could never have been filmed before - from a perspective never seen before.
Convenient. Affordable. Practical. The revolutionary, patent-pending Hatcam mounting system is attached to a quality baseball cap. Compatible with any pocket camcorder or small video camera that fits a standard tripod mount, the Hatcam Hands-Free Video Recording System allows you to film everything you see and hear - hands-free. A custom knob also makes adjusting any camcorder to a front-facing position quick and easy.
Comments: Did the same as John with an Ex Officio hat, 4-20 stainless hardware and an Elph. Simple idea and solution, save your dough and make your own with whatever hat you want.

Comments: The mounting screw nut looks way too far forward on the bill to be stable without really tightening down the hat itself because the weight of the camera will want to push the bill down. Not sure but looks like that would make it uncomfortable. Might want to relocate mount screw closer to the hat brim to offset the weight in-balance from the camera. I built one myself and that's the only way it could be made to work comfortably with my Canon Elph.
