Overview
Made to gain control over big fish on short lines, the Hayabusa WRM959 Wide Gap Offset Heavy Duty Hook features a thicker gauge wire to help anglers pull giant bass out of thick cover with no problems. Built with a wide gap to provide extra clearance for bulkier soft plastic baits, the wide gap design also gives the hook a bigger bite for increased hooking potential on every strike. Hayabusa’s patented Z-crank (offset) at the top of the hook shank effectively holds your soft plastics in place as well, preventing them from sliding down the hook and tearing on short strikes and snags.

Comments: Been fishing these exclusively for the last 5 outings, primarily fishing the 3/0 on a Sweet Beaver and the 4/0 on a ManBear Pig. Just felt like trying a different hook. Been a solid performer pitchin heavy tules and tule mats on 20# fluoro. The grey fluorine coating feels slick to the touch, good hook to land ratio.

Comments: These are comparable to the Gammy Superline hooks, but these have a slick coating to them. I prefer the coating; it seems to help the hook slide more easily through plastics and through a bass' mouth. These are now my preferred hooks.
