Overview
Blending the shallow water attraction of a squarebill with the weedlessness of a hollow body frog, the Kahara KJ Crank provides anglers with the very best of both worlds. Built with a soft, hollow-body construction, the Kahara KJ Crank is able to bend and flex in a way that no other crankbait can, allowing it to maneuver through the heavy cover and thick vegetation that bass use as ambush points.
At the front, the Kahara KJ Crank is fitted with a flexible circuit board lip that can be bounced and banged off of stumps and rocks without incurring damage. Fitted with a double frog hook and a treble hook, the Kahara KJ Crank ensures positive hook sets, even around less aggressive fish. Perfect for ripping through grass and banging against all manner of shallow structure, the Kahara KJ Crank is built to expose those big bass buried in heavy cover.

Comments: The idea is great, but just doesn't translate - the action on this thing is terrible - it will not run consistently and is virtually unusable for me. I would like to see improvements on this idea, there is potential - but like most "novel" styles that look good in theory, the "old" styles were perfected and survived for a reason. Maybe it is the soft front/lack of rigidity as opposed to the hard front on the Molix?

Comments: Much smaller profile that expected. The molding of the bodies is a bit warped on the sides and the hooks were not centered leaving one side snaggy. The hook issues were probably exacerbated by the side molding problems. I ordered 2 and both suffered the same problems. Compared to the Molix Supernato, it is inferior in quality. On a positive note, I like the design and how the bill is molded into soft plastic. The ability to add trebles is the design feature that made me purchase. Color is also excellent. If quality issues were addressed, this would be an awesome option for heavy cover cranking.

Comments: Pros: it is really soft it is some what weedless you can add treble hooks if you want Cons: it doesn't run consistently because the bill shifts around a lot
