Keitech Little Spider
Small baits produce big bites too! The Keitech Little Spider is the ultimate finesse spider jig. The Little Spider is made of a PVC rubber compound which adds elasticity and buoyancy to the Little Spider which will give you more life and more fish per bait. The Little Spider is an ideal spider jig after the crawdad spawn that occurs in late fall to early winter. The Keitech Little Spider will excel on highly pressured bodies of water where a finesse approach is a must.
Pair the Little Spider with a Keitech Fine Guard Jig Head, Keitech Mono Guard Jig Head or Keitech Super Football Jig Head and you have the perfect combination for a compact yet highly effective spider jig.

Comments: Maybe not as durable as the originals but they hold up fine for me. 1/4 FB & Ball head open hook & catch plenty of fish on each bait. Maybe your losing a strand or two of the skirt.

Comments: The little spider is not what the description says, they tear much easier now and made from a different material, definitely not like the older ones.

Comments: These catch fish, for sure, but I can't get more than 1 or 2 fish per bait on this new plastic formula. Definitely not the spiders of yesteryear. These would be good for the panic box when things get tough, but to fish them regularly will certainly put a dent in your budget.

Comments: Tried this bait after reading some good feedback at other resources. So far the Little Spider worked best for me when I used 1/16 oz jighead with #6 hook. Caught the following fish species: largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill and yellow perch. In my opinion durability of the bait heavily depends on amount of small fish in the water - those can rip pieces of "collar" and tails pretty fast. I am just finishing my first pack, so the numbers may change in the future, but at the moment one bait holds for about 2 hours.

Comments: The new little spider is admittedly similar in design to the original bait but its appearance is about as far as that similarity goes. The new version is clearly much less durable easily succumbing to rips and tears and will not withstand too many fish bites before losing tail and collar parts and slipping off the jig head. Anyone who got use to fishing the original model for long periods of time and catching several fish on a single bait can forget about that attribute. The new spider was clearly designed to be much less durable and will not withstand nearly the abuse of the original one. If you purchase the new spider be ready for a serious degradation in product quality in spite of Keitech's claim that they have "improved" the product. On a positive note, they will still catch fish. Unfortunately with the rise in price, the reduction in quantity per package and the major downgrade in durability it's hard to see how Keitech's claim that they've "improved" this product can be taken seriously.

Comments: Extremely durable bait. I use these as a jig trailer and I am still only on my first one - even after several months of fishing.

Comments:I have been looking for a more durable version of Cabin Creek's Salty Spider and so far I think I have found it. The small sizes provide tremendous versatility even good for dropshoting. The colors are muted and provide a more subtle presentation than other soft baits. If you dead stick it the skirt picks up energy from the water and looks just like crawfish legs when they walk, this can be deadly on smallmouth. Also works well hopping across the bottom and swimming slowly. My favorite technique so far is paired to a stand-up 1/8th jig. Works well for any gamefish big enough to bite including largemouth, crappie, bluegills, and especially smallmouth. So far Overall an excellent bait in all three sizes and the natural colors.
