Comments: Lance you are certainly entitled to your opinion. i find rods that other swear by not to meet my feel...but this hel and the hel2 and so so sensitive...i tell people "i can feel a fish fart"

Comments: Regarding the 2011 version, I LOVE IT! Super light, super sensitive. I purchased the 69MHC as an all-around work horse and it performs flawlessly. Some people were beefed on the short handle that they come with but I actually prefer it. The balance on this rod is spot on. It's coming down to these or Dobyns Champion in replacing all my rods...

Comments: ill have to disagree with lance these rods are great. well ya they'll break just like any other rod on the market. these rods are well balanced, if you put anything over an 8.0 oz reel on them the rod mite be a little unbalanced because the rod is so lite. but i wouldn't go all ichonneli on them tho. [no offense to mike hes a great fisherman].

Comments: not what I was expecting, it's become apparent that these Reviews were written about the vintage model or the people writing the reviews don't have much experience with high dollar rods. I fished this rod for 2 weeks and was not that impressed the feel and balance Of this rod is ok but not what I was expecting I currently own a dobyns dx series that took it's place and am very satisfied with them.
