Definitely not short on strength, Kistler was able to make the Magnesium TS Casting Rods 25% stronger than comparable rods on the market by integrating proprietary carbon fibers with multiple modulus graphite - actually expanding the thickness of the blank's graphite wall by 25% during production.
Durable Fuji stainless steel Frames with hardened, non-grooving, ceramic inserts dish out excellent strength and performance even with braided lines, and the Fuji ECS blank-thru Reel Seats also provide direct access to the rod blank. This combined with a no fore-grip design allows for heightened vibration detection and maximum sensitivity transfer. Each rod is also equipped with a comfortable, cork, split-grip handle design for reduced weight, increased leverage and optimum balance. Comments: I purchased a 6'9" all purpose rod from kistler early this year. I fish everything from crankbaits, jerkbaits, spinners..even weightless senkos with this rod. I can feel every movement my moving baits make, making it easy to know when I've picked up the slightest bit of vegetation. If your looking for a one-rod-does-all than this is probably as close as you're going to get. I've caught more fish this year on this rod than I have with any rod any other season.

Comments: I own the 6'9 all purpose and its a great multi purpose rod. My only gripe is that Kistler produces rods with much shorter grip sections than the competition. My rods grip only measures eight and a half inches. Saving my dollars right now to purchase a Z-Bone LS!

Comments: I have been using Kistler rods for more than two years now. The quality is outstanding and much attention is focused on detail. Not having a foregrip is a major bonus. Without the cork, the rod is much more sensitive to subtle bites. I would highly recommend a Kistler before a Loomis.
