Providing key advantages over conventional guides, the Fuji Micro Guides are a full 1/4-ounce lighter for starters, and the reduced mass of the Micro Guides translates into increased vibration transfer and sensitivity. Their smaller size and the fact that they sit much closer to the blank also ensures less line tangling and fewer bird's nests - eliminating the "line slap" produced by conventional guides. These same properties allow fishing line to fly through the guides for longer casts, while also neutralizing the issue of guide frame torque, as well as, broken or cracked guides/inserts.

Comments:Micro guides are nice on a casting rod. Had this rod for a month tried it with 8lb Fluoro and it slaps the rod and hinders the cast distance. Switched to mono and it was better but not great. I'm selling it asap and going back to standard guides for spinning gear.
