Limited Edition - the Kistler Z-Bone LE Spinning Rods are the lightest, strongest and most sensitive rods Kistler has ever created. Only a limited number of the Z-Bone LE Rods will be built and individually serial numbered each year.
Featuring custom-designed blanks, made in America by Gary Loomis and his new company - North Fork Composites - each Z-Bone LE Spinning Rod is then individually handcrafted in Texas by Kistler’s own rod experts to the highest standards possible. The exclusive and rare combination of North Fork Composite’s paper-carbon scrim and extremely high-modulus Next Generation HM graphite provides the Z-Bone LE Series Rods with a strength-to-weight ratio that is unequaled in the market today, and each rod also features a Raw Carbon finish, which involves a unique sanding and polishing process that requires no gloss or paint coating, and in turn, maximizes each rod’s incredible sensitivity and lightweight balance.
New Fuji K-Style Tangle-Free Micro Guides with Alconite inserts and stainless steel frames further enhance sensitivity, while also furnishing increased casting distance and accuracy, and greatly reducing rod weight. In addition, Kistler’s Advanced Micro Guide locking wrap system (KAM Lock) is one of the industry’s best methods for locking micro guides in place - eliminating many problems found with micro guide rods today. A premium Fuji VSS Comfort reel seat also provides a lightweight base for your reel, and split grip handles with high quality cork grips and an EVA buttcap ensure all day ergonomic comfort. The next generation of American-made performance rods is here with the lightweight, ultra sensitive Kistler Z-Bone LE Spinning Rods - which are also backed by a 100% money back guarantee from Kistler.

Customer Reviews Back to Top
Comments: The Kistler Z-Bone 7' Medium was one of the nicest rods that I have owned. Kistler customer service however, was the worst I have ever dealt with in my life. My rod broke above the handle after owning for just two weeks. I was just throwing a 1/8 weighted wacky rig with a 5" Senko. I was not near the 1/2oz rating. As well, it didn't break at the tip. It broke about 1" above the hook keeper. I sent in to Kistler and they told me it was my fault. I told them it was new and fished for a few weeks. I was told that Trey checked the rod and that it was due to throwing in a boat locker. I don't own a boat! Long story short, lots of emails and got nothing in return for my $400 investment. While it was one of the nicest rods I have ever owned, I will never give Kistler another penny.
