All new and all blue, Lamiglas completely redesigned and updated the new Lamiglas Excel Bass II Series Casting Rods. Now more affordable than ever and still packed with high-end features, the retooled series covers all the tried-and-true actions and emerging techniques that professional touring anglers demand.

The high performance IM graphite blanks are incredibly lightweight with the sensitivity you need to detect subtle bites and the requisite backbone to drive the hooks home. Lamiglas also took a minimalist approach with the split grip handle system and premium Fuji SK2 reel seat, removing all but the necessary material to maximize sensitivity while maintaining comfort. The Exell II’s durable, deep-pressed hybrid guide system also helps facilitates longer, more accurate casting with the toughness to stand up to repeated abuse and long days on the water. Simple, clean and packed with performance, the Excel Bass II Series Casting Rods are back and better than ever.

Comments: The Excel II rods are much improved in my opinion. They're light, sensitive and are built with solid components. I have the 736C for swim jigs and chatterbaits, and the 705 Glass for square bills and shallow to mid crankbaits. Both are a heck of a value and I really like the way these rods feel. Would HIGHLY recommend for the $100 range.

Comments: I got to put more time on the 7' 6 Flip and the ceramic on the tip cracked and frayed my line. Had to pull it out completely to fish the rest of the day. Long story short I contacted Lamiglas and they took care of me!
