Comments: Got this rod in 7' Medium to replace a broken St. Croix Triumph 7' Medium. I liked my St. Croix, but would have to give the edge to the Lew's for sensitivity. First time I out I could feel things on the lake bed that I hadn't felt with the St. Croix. Neither are expensive, both are basic rods, so I didn't really expect to feel a big difference between the two, but in the end I did feel a difference. My feeling about rods in general is that you can get 95% of what you'd want by getting a nice, solid rod like this Lew's; if you want to pay more money and get that extra 5% in lightness and sensitivity, you certainly can and would be even more happy. It's all what you're looking for and how much time you spend on the water.

Comments: Theres some way better options out there for the price, but this rod gets the job done.  The 7' Medium worked well for weightless baits and had just enough backbone to pull fish out of cover.  Very light rod.  Looks great too.

Comments: Ive had this rod for about three months now, and its done a great job.  At first i used it as a bass rod but swiched it over to my panfish rod.  I got the 6,6 combo and i have 6 pound mono on it at the time, and it works great for getting a very light bait very far.  I think its a great spinning rod for the price.  Very pleased.

From: Unknown 6/21/17

Comments: I originally bought the 6'6M spinning combo in 2014 at a tackle shop. The rod is light and very strong. I've caught everything from small bluegill to big hybrids on it. Love the backbone on it. It's not as sensitive as I would like it to be, but that's the only flaw with it. It's getting used less and less as I'm getting into better gear, but I still never leave home without it.

Comments: Ive bought this rod in the 7' model many years ago & still use it to this day. It has stood up to brutal saltwater conditions & landed many mahi & sailfish. Although this rod is not recommended for saltwater use, it has stood the test of time & fought fish that should have broken the rod in half countless times. This is the best rod for the money period.

Comments: Great all around bass rod! Extremely light, sensitive & comfortable & with some good backbone
