Comments: Ive had the 300 for a year now and i can say without a doubt the best spinning reel for the tournment angler on a budget... ive mainly thrown shakey heads, wackey rigs, and small texas rigged worms and it has out preformed itself by a mile... another great reel from lews!!!!

Comments: I have several 40$ spinning reels. I must say with out any doubt this one is the one i should have not bought. It cast well, but the retrieve is not smooth to say the least. I took it apart, grease and oiled it up but still it did not change. I like the Lews brand reels, I'm just not satisfied with this one.

Comments: Got this in the mail Friday and took it out the same day. Git it paired up with a Abu Garcia Vendetta 6'9 medium light rod and spooled with P-Line CX Premium. Solid setup. This reel is light and powerful. Very sleek-looking and incredibly smooth too. For 40 bucks I totally love it. I wish it came with a spare spool but oh well. Lew's is taking over the reel game. I'm 5'11 and skinny and the 300 size is an average size reel that fits well. I imagine the 200 would be pretty small, and if you're a big dude maybe try the 400. TW came through as always.

Comments: This reel is great for the money. I bought the 200 initially and it was too small so I returned it and got the 300. I still feel like it's too small but it's not anything to fuss about. This reel is smooth, durable, and greatly priced. I would recommend this reel to anyone on a budget who is looking for a great reel. I would however recommend that if you're looking to buy this reel, get the 300 or the 400 size.

Comments: I got the 300 and it's a great reel! Smooth and simple! I have 8lb. Seagur red label fluoro on it and it brought in a 16 pound carp with ease! Good drag system and it's pretty stalky! If it was 2 ounces lighter it would rein supreme! Great starter spinning reel and it's easy on the wallet!
