Comments: just bought this rod, 7ft medium fast for pretty much all my spinning rod needs, cant afford to buy 10 rods for 10 different techniques, couldnt be more happy with the action, weight and sensitivity, rod performs flawlessly, i think most spinning rods could use micro guides, only down side is that there is no hook keeper but in no way is that a deal breaker, outstanding product from an outstanding company, cant wait to buy more lews products, thank you lews, i am now lews for life!!

Comments: This was my first Lew's product and I am impressed. I purchased the 6'6" Medium to use as a main drop shot rod, prior to this I owned a specialized drop shot rod that didn't seem to have enough backbone for larger bass and this has the perfect taper (IMO) for drop shot. I pair it with an Okuma Trio 30 w/ 20lb braid and 8lb Flouro leader, I have no problem with the uniknot through the mini guides. This is also my first mini-guide pole, I don't seen any dramatic increases in casting distance or anything else that has been hyped recently, however when it comes to storage and guides getting caught- I think I like the mini guides.
