Comments: I read all the comments at other websites some mixed but still purchased the product. It was and easy install (my second finder install). Followed the directions in the manual ( a must for proper operation ), transducer install, seclecting the correct depth if not on automatic otherwise it can not find the bottom. The fish finder on automatic operation is easy. The split screen with two cone angle sizes is great. You can see whats under you and to the sides depending on depth. Found it easy to read even in direct sunlight (you might have to shade it if it's direct however I did with my other finder also). No problem reading the bottom at top speed ( 25 mph ), my other finder wouldn't do that. You can see your jig under the boat and put it exactly in the zone you see fish in. Haven't got to use all the features yet, but put nine fish in the boat yesterday for my first time using the finder. Cant wait to figure out all of the options. Oh also, the temp is built into the transducer another great feature, I had thought it was a separate transducer purchase. Hit the wrong button once and the screen got quite cluttered, just restored defaults and was back in action in seconds. Great product for the money.

Comments: Read all the reviews at other websites some of them mixed, however, I found the install quite easy (my second fish finder install). Found the Mark 5X Pro quite easy to read even in direct sunlight (you might have to step in front of it to shade it if the sun is shining directly on it, but had to do that with my other finder). Found the set up menu easy
