The original Alabama Rig that started it all - the Mann's Slick Lures Alabama Rig is the same rig that Paul Elias used to run away with the win at the October 2011 Lake Guntersville FLW Tour Open, and the rig that every angler and pro has been clambering to get their hands on ever since. An old standby for saltwater and striper anglers, Elias proved its deadly effectiveness on the normally finicky, suspended Fall bass that are feeding on shad. Designed to simulate a school of baitfish, it features five super strong wires with swivels and snaps to attach your choice of swimbaits, grubs, spinnerbaits or jigs. Rest assured, it's also durable enough to not tear up once you get into fish, and you can even throw it on a stouter, standard rod. Taking the bass fishing world by storm - get the original - the Mann's Slick Lures Alabama Rig.
Other recent, notable tournament wins on the Alabama Rig, include Dan Morehead at the Kentucky Lake EverStart Championship, and Scott Brummett at the Walmart BFL Wheeler Lake Regional.
Don't get fooled by imitations. Use the original Alabama Rig Accessory Kit and the Alabama Rig for maximum results.
**Don't forget to check your State's fish and game rules and regulations - a fully rigged umbrella rig is illegal in some States.

Comments: SUCKS!!! I just purchased this rig, and went to rig it up, the first wire i went to spread broke. I have been fishing mann's products for years and love them. I am very disappointed, If I spend $18 on a lure it better be top of the line.

Comments: DID NOT MEET my expectations at all this is the worst alabama rig ever the wires were breaking off any 2 pounders and i even lost a fish that weighed at least 8 pounds do to terrible wires and swivels DO NOT BUY THIS RIG spend your money on one that will last and mann's is also lieing this is not the same alabama rig that paul elias used this one has a completly diffrent head shape and alot cheaper hardware piece of garbage!

Comments: This is NOT the Alabama rig that Paul Elias used to win the Guntersville tournament! You can see that if you watch the FLW TV show. This is truly false advertising by the Mann's bait company. Watch the show and you will see the head design, this is NOT even close....

Comments: everyone is talking about how nice and well made this rig is but not once did anyone talk about the fish they are pulling in with it
Comments: This thing isn't even close to the original Alabama Rig. The only resemblance is the name. It doesn't have a swivel in the head and the snap swivels are no where close. Don't waste your money, go with another brand.

Comments: I would just like to thank Andy and his dad for inventing this lure. I have a couple originals and to be quite honest I like them better. Of course just like everyone else I make my own version now. I just wanted to thank the guy that made it possible. Amazing bait.

Comments: I agree with Daniel. My friend Real, gave me the info when he was fishing on Pickwick and sent me some pics. I purchased about 4 or 5 of these and have been thoroughly impressed with the quality and personal service that you guys gave me. These Coosa River spots down here on Lay Lake hit these things like serial killers!!
