Comments: This bait is great around weeds and emergent grass. don't expect it to have the action of crank bait because it doesn't. i fish it on 50# braid with a frogging rod. pull it under the water and let it pop back to the surface or simply twitch it in the open spot's of the pads or weeds. it is made to mimic a rat or a mouse, so fish it that way. it is not a open water lure per se, although it will hook a fish there once in a while. reeling this lure with a constant retrieve is not what the lure was designed for. fish it like a frog and it WILL catch big bass and huge gill's---

Comments:Very disappointed with the baits action. I ordered a white/silver and a clear gold metal flake. I tried them on light, medium and heavy action rods, also used: 12, 14, 17, 20lb mono and floro and 35lb braid. I used slow and fast retrieves all the baits would do was plow water and roll over on their side. I called Mann‚s Bait Co. (they were extremely helpful) and they sent me 3 new baits free of charge. I thought they may have come from a bad batch number and new ones would be fine but they too had no action. The reason I bought them was because of the ease of use, the action and the types of cover you could use them in (all of which were shown in the video link above). The only retrieve that I could mimic (video) was popping/twitching and all that did was make it dive 4 to5 inches and float back to the surface.
