Constructed with input of both boat designers and engineers at 3M, the MegaWare KeelGuard provides increased protection for the keel of your boat, safeguarding it from damage caused by abrasive sand, rocks, concrete ramps, and oyster beds. Built using several layers of adhesive, foam padding, and an ultra-tough polymer composite exterior, the MegaWare KeelGuard absorbs shock and protects the front of your boat from, scratches, dings, and possible structural weakening.
Molded with advanced hydrodynamic drag reduction channels, the MegaWare KeelGuard creates air pockets to provide a slicker surface, so there’s no interruption in the speed and performance of your boat. Eliminating the need for messy sealants, the MegaWare KeelGuard provides a contoured edge that forms to shape of your boat to create a tight, long-lasting seal.
Incredibly easy to install, the MegaWare KeelGuard comes with all of the necessary tools and materials for application, including a scotch-brite pad to etch the surface of the boat, a canister of primer, and a burnishing tool to ensure complete adhesion.
