Comments: Went with an Edge for my small beater boat that I fish local stuff with. About 25-30 trips on the water and it quit working. Thought maybe the bushings or brushes needed changed. Pulled it apart and there was water all in the lower unit. everything fried. I know they're cheap but I won't be buying another.

Comments: I absolutely love my Minn Kota Edge 24 volt 70lb thrust trolling motor. This was a MAJOR upgrade from a piece of crap Motor Guide. My MK puts out way more thrust than my Motor Guide ever could dream of putting out.

Comments: Needs a speed between 4 and 5. When the wind gets blowing pretty good sometimes 4 just isnt enough and 5 becomes jerky and hard to control. Other than that the motor is solid and works well.
