Comments: 7 years ago I took an unexpected swim from a small Jon boat in river current and immediately bought the MIT 100. I have worn it constantly while on the water ever since. It is comfortable, light weight and doesn't interfere with fishing. Honestly I have worn it for so long that I don't even know it's there. Yesterday I got a great reminder why it's good to wear the MIT 100 more than just when running down the lake. I went forward to let down the trolling motor, slipped, lost my balance and overboard I went. I was in the water less than 5 seconds when the vest automatically inflated, and the only injury was to my ego. I highly recommend this vest. Get one, change the charging kit every couple of years, and don't throw it on the seat when you get to your spot. Like me, you may be glad you were still wearing it.

Comments: I have owned 2 and both deployed in my DRY storage box on my boat with the slightest bit of moisture. Spend a little more and get a better vest.

Comments: Bought one of these a week ago. Seems to be well made but disappointed that it didn't have a connection point for an outboard kill switch. You'd think that would be standard. Otherwise I'm satisfied with it.

Comments: Bought 1 each for my wife and I. Is very comfortable to wear. I have a black one and I must admit it does get hot on sunny days. I wear mine at all times while on the water. Ex smoker with limited lung capacity. Better to have and not need it, like a seat belt.
