Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Sunglasses
Oakley designed the FLAK JACKET Sunglasses for sports professionals and people who don't want to worry about their glasses once they are on. The semi-rimless design means there's no frame rim to block your downward view and the XLJ version offers extended lens coverage for larger faces or for those who prefer an expanded field of vision. The Flak Jacket's sleek look channels the style that is characteristically Oakley with the latest in optic technology.
Oakley has established itself over the last quarter century as a global icon in performance eyewear - continuing to create the most technologically advanced optic wear by pushing performance and innovation like the world-class athletes that wear their products. Kevin Van Dam, one of the most decorated pros in bass fishing history, has also recently signed on with Oakley, taking optical advancement into the fishing world.
The FLAK JACKET Sunglasses provide the ultimate in comfort with two interchangeable Unobtanium nose pads to provide the perfect fit. The Unobtanium components (Earsocks and Nosepads) actually increase grip with perspiration, while the O Matter Frames in every pair of FLACK JACKET Sunglasses provide lightweight stress-resistant durability. These features combine to form the Oakley Three-Point Fit that holds lenses in precise optical alignment and offers all-day comfort.
Oakley's Polarization Technology surpasses industry standards for clarity, performance and durability - eliminating the blinding rays of glare with the greater than 99% efficiency. All Oakley lenses are also made of lightweight Plutonite Material that inherently blocks 100% of all UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light. Both the Polarization and Plutonite technologies are actually formulated into the lens construction – not a thin layer that scratches off like most lenses on the market. Lenses include Oakley's proprietary smudge-proof Hydrophobic Coating which repels water, oil, perspiration and dust – making cleaning your lenses a breeze.
The O Matter frames and Oakley lenses also provide unrivaled protection against high-velocity and high-mass impact – exceeding the standards of impact tests established by the American National Standards Institute.

Comments: I have the KVD version with grey lenses. Nice frame and sporty glass, but that is also key here: SPORT!. Lens quality is fine for polycarbonate, but in no way glass standard, and for fishing it's all about fishing. I use mine for running and purchased something better suited for fishing too. Lens is also a bit dark grey and does not enhance contrast like a copper tint will do for you. Nice for sports. No comparison to real high-end glass and not the best for fishing. Price however is premium :)

Comments: These sun-glasses have got to be the best sun-glass purchase I have ever made. They don't move at all going at high speeds on bass boats, even bending over getting fish out of the water, no worries about them falling off. One of the best things for a guy like me, you can get prescription lenses for them no problem! You get what you pay for! And these things are amazing!

Comments: I love these glasses! I have had a pair of them for 2 years and they have held up very well. The great thing about them is the fact that you can change lenses easily.
