Still running strongThis is my second review of the Okuma Citrus 364… Well, after owning this reel for some time now and throwing big baits ( 3-10oz ) with it on numerous occasions, it had held up wonderfully! Still smooth casting, reeling and not once have I experienced a backlash. I will definitely be buying another when this one craps out, if it ever does! Love this reel!

Comments: So I waited to make this review because I wanted to really run this real through its paces. I have had it for an entire year now and can honestly say I couldn't be happier. I've been using it to through 8 plus inch swimbaits for largemouth and it's been an absolute brute. Well worth the buy and I plan to buy another.

Comments: I use a left-handed reel so this may not be an issue with the right hand version. On a large percentage of vigorous casts with a heavy swimbait the clicker engages and makes a horrendous noise as your bait flies through the air. I think I am bumping it somehow based on how I grip the reel but not sure. I have gotten conditioned to flipping it off mid-cast but it is aggravating for sure. Otherwise the reel has been great with no issues whatsoever. Guess I need to go fish for some big catfish with bait and become like Quint in Jaws eyeing my reel - click, click ,click.....

Comments: Picked this reel up on ebay after reading the good reviews here. I have been using it to throw big baits for largemouth and striper on the CA Delta. I have also used it a lot for swimbaits and jigs for rockfish and lingcod. All I can say is that this reel is great, excellent drag, few backlashes and gives you tons of power to winch big fish out of rocks, reed or other cover. Great product!

Comments: I am so pleased with this reel. This reel landed me two 50+ lbs bluefin and a 20 lbs yellowtail in one day as well as more calico bass and barracuda than I can count. So awesome!

Comments: Just back from test driving my Okuma Citrix 364 baitcast reel... paired with an 8' irod heavy swimbait rod. Wow! I am very impressed! This real casts a 10' 6oz Savage Gear line through Trout with ease! After dialing in the reel for such a large bait, I was consistently casting it 40+ yards! Great big bait real for the price! Let's just see how she holds up over the next few months... 2nd review coming.

Comments: Bought this reel for throwing big swimbaits, and I have to say I don't really have any complaints. I've thrown everything from the DEPS 250, 8-10" magdraft, hudds, and 11" soft tool. This reel handles them rather well. You can't really compare it to a lexa or a tranx but those are in a different category. Yet for a cheaper reel if you're on a budget can't go wrong with it.

Comments: I am so disappointed in this reel. It worked OKAY for my first few trips, after that it went to crap. I could cast a spook with the brakes off maybe 15 feet. I dont know if I got a defective reel but after trying to trouble shoot it I threw it in the trash. I honestly do not recommend it. It was a waste of money. I have never had a reel give me any issues right out of the box. In fact I have a few reels at the same price point that have been heavily used and are still going strong with just a little love and care. If it got wet, it cast like a champ so I figured it just needed to be cleaned and some grease added, even though I cast it maybe 50 times but that did not help one bit. It fit great in my hand and was super comfortable but it flat out did not work.

Comments: I purchased this reel for throwing 6, and 8 inch huds, and smaller glide baits, ZERO complaints, got this reel on a Daiwa DX 8 foot medium heavy action, throws any swimbait I tie on a mile, amazing reel for what I am using it for, and also at an amazing price!

From: Unknown: New Jersey 5/22/18

Comments: My first over one hundred dollar reel. Intending to use as swim bait reel not just for bass but mainly ocean. Most likely for chinook also! Wasn't much reviews nor videos about this reel but I still bought it because of the amount of drag + line capacity.Took it out after putting on 17lb floro, went for cast testing and its not bad. So far no cons, I shouldn't even bother about this "con" because this is my first expensive casting reel.Spool tension knob was different from the casting reels I've had but I believe it was made like this ahaha. Love it so far

Comments: Spooled with ripin floro 20lb on a BPS heavy/fast musky rod- set the brake 50/50 zero backlashes , chucks 3 oz swimbaits , smooth- no buyers remorse here.

From: C. Treas Yuma, AZ 1/7/17

Comments: The cast control system broke on this reel within a month & the reel is very poor at casting anything under an ounce. Save yourself some time and grab a Lews super duty instead of this hunk of junk!

From: Jeffrey: FL 4/28/16

Comments: I own this reel, paired with an Okuma Big Bait 7'11" XH rod. I couldn't ask for a better combo, both reel and rod, can handle the biggest bass NE has to offer with little to no effort! this reel is a tank, super smooth, casts a country mile, and offers a super smooth drag as well, and strong drag too! haha 25lbs, i'd say so! Okuma, you now have my full support, from now on, it's ALL OKUMA product for me! Hopefully you fellas who read this review will end up feeling exactly how i do! Okuma is just the best, PERIOD!

Comments: i own shimano calcuttas and curados. Ive owed daiwa lexa 300s and abu garcia reels aswell. I was looking for a reel specifically for throwing large bottom bouncing swimbaits that wouldnt break the bank. I took a chance and got the citrix 350 and was not disapointed the reel is just as smooth as the curado and as durable as the calcutta. Its also more powerful than the daiwa lexa (which i was disappointed with). It even handles big glide baits such as the mother and slide swimmers...a great reel
