Previous Feedback

Comments: Tested this reel with 6lb test flouro on a 7-1 Dobyns Sierra ML rod on Champlain smallmouth. Very impressed. The reel is smooth and casts light weight marabou jigs well. The thing that made it a winner for me was the drag which performed flawlessly for me as I caught numerous large, fired up smallmouth. Exceeded expectations for a reel of this price range. Bought another.

Comments: Overall a solid reel. Have two in the 30 size and have held up well for 2 years. Few things to mention. Other reels can be had for less that are better these days. (Think low end daiwa) maintenance  is more involved due to frame design. Overall build quality and is what you would expect for most reels in this price range. I don't think I'd pay full admission price for them I paid like 35/for each of mine which is a bargain. Line lay is impeccable due to the slow oscillation. More than capable for 5lb+ smallmouth and striped bass to 30". Good kayak reel that you don't mind losing or breaking.
