Comments: this reel sucks!!! didnt even last me three months.
From: Yeng: OK
Comments: Did anyone else have problems with the drag? I purchased this reel and once I started setting the drag the handle became real loose! I was looking forward to owning this reel but after you burn me once it's hard for me to try it again.
From: Derek: USA
Comments: Don't listen to the bad reviews about this reels quality for the $$! Any body who isn't impressed with this reel probably only has reels that are $300 and more. I am 14 and do tournaments and this gets the job done. With some effort I can launch 3/8 oz jigs at least 40 yards. Also this reel is almost impossible to backlash. Best flipping and jig n creature reels around for the $$. I give this reel a rating of 10 out of 10. Good fishin.

Comments: Everyone is saying this reel doesn't cast good and this and that... This reel is obviously made for heavy cover fishing like flipping and pitching. It's made for heavy braided lines, its got a low line capacity because you don't need that much to flip, it's got a high gear ratio to bring those fish in fast when flipping or pitching, and it's got a relatively low amount of bearings like the curado.

Comments: i just got this reel and its not bad for 105 bucks. i just threw it around the backyard and was impressed with it. its comfortable and smooth. i would buy it again
From: Andy: IL
Comments: I found this reel for 85 free shipping brand new it's a good reel definitely not worth 105 should be 80 at the most ur paying for the looks but it casts fine with heavier baits it's comfortable and the drag is pretty nice but for a 100 bucks get lews I absolutely love that reel but if u want a reel to look really good and work about 7 maybe 8 out of ten get the krios
From: Doug: Marrero, LA
Comments: Well for a 100 bucks, not bad....was expecting alittle more distance with my micro veritas...seems i can't get past 6 on magnets....it's not a Pro-Qualifier but it does look dead sexy on the veritas. Overall its better than a skeet. I agree with Duke, if the price was 75 bucks they would be on to something.
From: Shane
Comments: Well, it's not a precise piece like the Calcutta that I own but it doesn't have a $200 price tag either. However, it's a nice lite reel with dual braking for a decent price. It's very much like the Alumina 273 reel with a shiny pearl white color. Not a bad reel for around $75 with many nice features.

Comments: any more reviews on this? i want to buy a few but im waiting on the reviews from us fisherman.

Comments: i have been waiting FOREVER for someone to make a white baitcaster that was great looking and worth its sticker price.when i saw the new shimano chrono. come out i was extatic, but then i saw what shimano did (make a white curado with a chrono name badge on it,then jack up the price) and i was a little miffed and said no go.then i found this beauty,i cant wait for this reel to arive and become available cause this thing looks dead sexy.and for $100 im not afraid to purchase it,sure i know it wont be some highend gem of a reel at a great price, but i have some okuma spinning reels and they are perfect, plus okuma has stepped up theyre game alot over the past years,if its anything like the lews speed baitcaster that sells for $80 and performs like it costed $200 id be 100% happy.and if it turns out to be a bad buy and a heap of crap, well then ehh ill toss it to my son who can inturn beat the crap out of it and drive it to its grave.but im hoping it performs as good as it looks.cant wait.
