On the front of the Okuma Nomad Backpack there are two more zippered compartments that can house cell phones, cameras, reels, or anything else that you will need for a successful fishing trip.
To make carrying all of your gear as comfortable as possible, Okuma fitted the Nomad Backpack with a thick padding along the back, as well as, wide padded shoulder straps. The Okuma Nomad Backpack is also furnished with a sternum strap, and an additional waist strap to provide even more support. For protection against inclement weather, Okuma incorporated a water-resistant cover that fits over the backpack and stores in a pocket on the top of the bag. Comments: I'm a shore fisherman and have to hike/bike to many of my local lakes, I wanted an upgrade to the Okuma backpack (bear logo) that I've been using. This Nomad fits the bill, it is much larger and heavier than the bear backpack, in fact it's almost twice as big. Tons of storage space and even though it is heavier/bulkier, the chest and waist strap distribute the weight evenly across your back and not at just the top or bottom.

Comments: Very nice, high quality bag with very comforatble shoulder strap. I like it a lot and it has helped me be able to get organized and take most of my stuff with me at once, not pick and choose beforehand what I MIGHT need before actually getting on the water to see the conditions. That being said, I do have one complaint... the zipper is HARD to pull and gets stuck easily.
