Okuma Reflexion Casting Rods - $59.99
Comments: these rods are great for the money and have a lifetime warrenty, had mine for 2 years and beat it to death but the tip did break about 4 in's down . okuma's customer service is great and they will replace the rod no questions asked. the downfall is the 14.95 for shipping but 15$ is better then 60$. now i have 3 and i use them more the my st.criox mojo's and falcon's.

Comments: I can attest to the rod tip breakage. I had a 6'6 medium action break on me a week ago. The fish was about an 8-10lb gar and the tip broke with the fish still in the water. I thought there was an unknown fracture in my rod that caused this but after reading below posts it may be a manufacturing concern. Will not buy again. Tight lines!

Comments: These are great rods for the money, every bit as light as a kistler and the 7ft med heavy can handle everything from casting jigs to flipping grass with 3/4 or even 1 oz weights. my big complaint with these rods are that they break. I broke 4 of them this season all swinging fish in the boat.

Comments: I purchased five of the 7' 6" bait casting rods winter of 2009 with the long handles. I like the performance and the long handles that I can use as a resistance counter against my side so I can zip baits out on long casts with only having to use a short range of motion. The only thing I dislike is that the rod tips will break easily as I have broken three of the five rods I purchased.

Comments: I don't like to comment on a product until I have given it a good going over. I purchased the medium heavy back in the early spring and I have been using it for pitching and flipping all summer. The rod has performed well and I have caught a bunch of good fish on it. For the price, it can't be beat. The only complaint I have is no bait holder and it is a little heavy after a full day of fishing. Overall for the price, I will pick me up the 7 foot medium light for cranking and give it a try. Pick you up one and give it a chance, you won't be sorry.
