The Okuma Reflexions Casting Rods deliver the action and power of a high-end rod series with the great value Okuma is known for. This classic looking series features IM-6 graphite blank construction which is roughly 38 million modulus for the perfect blend of sensitivity, power and durability. Low profile stainless steel guide frames paired with hard Zirconium inserts maximize the benefits of the blanks construction and are also strong enough to stand up to the abuse of today's braided super lines. The thru-blank reel seat provides a solid base and exposes more of the blank to the angler, further transmitting vibration into the angler's hands. Okuma also added a split-grip handle for additional weight reduction and enhanced leverage. Premium cork grips round out the high-end features and provide a solid, comfortable grip. Whether you are a tournament angler or only get out to the lake every- so-often, the Okuma Reflexions Casting Rod Series has the features you can appreciate and a price-point you can't ignore.

Comments: I am an OKUMA believer after buying this rod. I primarily use this rod for top water but after using the rod & feeling how it handles, I might get more than 1. Truely recommend this rod to anyone.

Comments: I picked this rod up for a great price and thought I would use it as my topwater beater. Instead of beater I should have thought it better.. This rod at this price point is comparable to many high end rods. I haven't had any tip issues yet. but I would whole heartedly purchase this rod again ; it has a very forgiving action , tight but not sloppy. Great rod for any experience level! Excels in topwater due to the gentle tip action. I'm quickly becoming a okuma fan.

Comments: these rods are great for the money and have a lifetime warrenty, had mine for 2 years and beat it to death but the tip did break about 4 in's down . okuma's customer service is great and they will replace the rod no questions asked. the downfall is the 14.95 for shipping but 15$ is better then 60$. now i have 3 and i use them more the my st.criox mojo's and falcon's.

Comments: I can attest to the rod tip breakage. I had a 6'6 medium action break on me a week ago. The fish was about an 8-10lb gar and the tip broke with the fish still in the water. I thought there was an unknown fracture in my rod that caused this but after reading below posts it may be a manufacturing concern. Will not buy again. Tight lines!

Comments: These are great rods for the money, every bit as light as a kistler and the 7ft med heavy can handle everything from casting jigs to flipping grass with 3/4 or even 1 oz weights.  my big complaint with these rods are that they break.   I broke 4 of them this season all swinging fish in the boat.

Comments: I purchased five of the 7' 6" bait casting rods winter of 2009 with the long handles. I like the performance and the long handles that I can use as a resistance counter against my  side so I can zip baits out on long casts with only having to use a short range of motion.  The only thing I dislike is that the rod tips will break easily as I have broken three of the five rods I purchased.

Comments: I don't like to comment on a product until I have given it a good going over. I purchased the medium heavy back in the early spring and I have been using it for pitching and flipping all summer. The rod has performed well and I have caught a bunch of good fish on it. For the price, it can't be beat. The only complaint I have is no bait holder and it is a little heavy after a full day of fishing. Overall for the price, I will pick me up the 7 foot medium light for cranking and give it  a try. Pick you up one and give it a chance, you won't be sorry.
