Overview

The Owner Ultrahead Bullet Rigs offer you the ultra-sharp offset Owner Cutting Point Hook and a bullet weight in one package. Now, instead of choosing the right size bullet weight and the hook to go with it, you can tie on these Ultraheads and have both pieces right there ready for you to Texas-rig your worm. When you are flipping worms into bass-holding cover, there is no need to peg your weight to make sure the worm and hook will not separate from the weight and end up on two different sides of a stick and not sink to the bottom. The weight is attached permanently to the hook, so your offering will go through the thickest cover and save you precious minutes in a tournament. This great idea will not only save you time, it will give you confidence that your rig is perfectly lined up on every cast and ready to hook any fish that bites, which will put more fish in the boat with less effort.

Comments: I'm all about having a weedless option for Keitechs, so when I saw the reviews for these I had to try them. I really don't get it though. I have rigged these up on 2.8 and 3.3 Swing Impacts. The hook is way too long for a 2.8. The hook would be coming out of the end of the tail on a 2.8, and there's not enough gap for a 3.3. I also tried them on a 3.5 and 4in Easy Shiner. They do fit these much better. The 3.5in is fine, although I still think there's not enough gap to hook the fish well. I can see missing a lot of fish with this set-up. It's defiantly not enough for the 4in. There's literally about a 16th of an inch gap on the 4in Easy Shiner. With this many people saying that it works I'll give it a try, but I'm kind of disappointed. Not Owners fault though. This is quality! I might have to try the Decoy Nail Bomb with the smaller #2 hook for the 2.8 Keitechs, or just stick with the Owner Flashy Swimmer 1/0 for 3.3 SIF, 3.5in ES, and 4in ES. Oh well, I'm sure I can find other uses for these. Super sharp hook!

Comments: I do a lot of fishing with the Owner hooks and they are tough to beat but, I tried the Decoy (JDM product - terminal tackle) and they are about the same with a few more options on size ( have 1/0, 2/0 and 3/0) and weight. They are very very sharp and while they may flex a little bit more on the 1/0 size, they are still strong enough to pull in any bass I have hooked into. They have slightly more bend at the hook tip, so they bury into a plastic lure a little deeper making them slightly more weed free. If you are a fan of the owner bullet hook I would suggest you at least take a look at the Decoy VJ-36 bullet rig (very similar pricing - very slightly less expensive). I purchased a number of them from Tackle Warehouse in the past and then they stopped carrying them, glad they have them back.

Comments: Great jighead for 4" Keitech easy shiners. I do wish they had a version with a heavier hook, I've never lost a fish but they do have a lot of bend in them. I do like the lighter hook for fishing with lighter tackle. There is also a pretty big gap between these and the sled heads with a 4/0 hook so either offer these with a heavier hook or a sled head with a 1/0 or 2/0 hook.

Comments: Great little finesse jighead. I like the 1/8 or 3/16 with a 4" Zoom Dead Ringer or a Strike King Baby Rage craw , that said just about any smaller bite size soft plastic will work with this. If using braid to leader step it down to a Medium action as the hook can be bent which I learned the hard way using a 7' MH rod as a bent hook cost me a big one.

Comments: 1/16 & 1/8 are deadly for finesse A-Rig around grass and cover on Tennessee river. Prefect fit for the 4" & 3.5" easy shiner.

Comments: Paired with 3.3" Keitech fat or 4inch Keitech slim, the 1/16th oz version is deadly for fishing these baits weedless

Comments: I have been pairing this hook with a hula grub and fishing it like a jig for nearly 20 years. My personal best large mouth 9lb 9oz in Michigan which is a rare giant for the state came off this combo. Not only does it produce numbers but when the bite gets tough this hook will give you confidence. In my opinion this hook is a must have for bass fishermen. I prefer the hula grub paired with this but have thrown just about every soft plastic from a worm to creature baits on this hook.

Comments: I wear the smallmouth, walleye, and the occasional largemouth out on the 1/8th and 3/16th versions.  I use the 3.3" and 2.8" Keitech Swing Impact FAT in shad or the bluegill flash patterns.  The 1/0 hook does however fit the 3.3" Keitech much better though.

Comments: Owner products are just tough to beat...  I have been using Owner hooks now for about 20 years and i cant think of a bad product ever.  If it says Owner on it  Its a winner!!!

From: Mike: Simsbury, CT

Comments: These are my go to heads for fishing 4 and 5 inch grubs.  They fit a Zoom Fat Albert perfectly and are very weedless.  Also work well on shorter finesse worms.

From: Andy: Knoxville, TN

Comments: This is my go to rig for finesse fishing 4" t 6" worms in weeds and around wood.  All weight sizes are with a 1/0 hook so there is plenty bite.  As always, Owner hooks are sharp right out of the pack and plenty strong.  I've land bass to 6 pounds on this rig.  Highly recommended.

From: Rick: Orrville, OH

Comments: These are my favorite heads for tubes, especially around brush. make your tubes look like a wounded minnow plus the design allows you to fish a lighter head and gain a greater depth.
