Overview
Not your typical bladed swim jig, the Pepper Custom Baits Commando Rumbler delivers tournament-grade performance and a versatile presentation that outshines all the rest. Fitted with a coffin-style blade at the front, the Pepper Custom Baits Commando Rumbler provides an advanced level of flash, vibration, and weedlessness. Built with two joints (one behind the blade and another at the hook), the Pepper Custom Baits Commando Rumbler has a very unique wobble that bass won't be ready for. Also, because of its pivotal nature bass can't use the jig as leverage to spit the hook.
Designed with a durable hook hanger versus a molded hook, the Pepper Custom Baits Commando Rumbler gives anglers the freedom to modify their presentation without ever having to re-tie. Whether conditions call for a tasty paddle tail swimbait, like the one included with the jig, or a compact feathered treble hook, anglers can swap back-and-fourth with the simple twist of a split ring. Proven to not just catch, but also catch big ones, the Pepper Custom Baits Commando Rumbler is the one you want on your line when the tournament is on the line.

Comments: This is a great chatterbait, right up there with the Jackhammer in effectiveness. It has a HARD vibration and a wide wobble. The hook that comes with it is big, so leaving that on creates a big profile. Take it off and put a smaller hook on, and you have a profile the same as a traditional chatterbait that fits well with a 3" or so trailer. I would recommend the Lake Fork Live Magic Shad in a matching color. It isn't completely weedless, but quite a bit more so than a standard chatterbait, so it comes through moderate weedgrowth very well, just not heavy matted weeds. All in all, a great chatterbait that's one of the best on the market, and at a good price.

Comments: This bait is flat out wicked. What it doesn't show in the pic is it comes with a Gamakatsu dressed treble and a Trokar swimbait hook with a swim bait. When you fish it you will feel it vibrate like crazy and the action is superb. It has done wonderfully for trout (yes I said trout), bass and pike for me.

Comments: I like the fact that this comes with a treble hook that you can switch to in open water. It also gives the jig a smaller profile, as the single hook and trailer can be a bit large for many of the waters that I usually fish. You can also substitute a smaller single hook and smaller trailer. But the treble has worked best for me. Fishing at East Okoboji in Iowa, I caught my largest bass of the year swimming a Pepper Bladed Jig in Bluegill color just over the weed tops. Made a cast off the dock, and hooked something that got off. I cast in the same direction, set the hook hard, and didn't let off until I had her in hand. It was a 20" largemouth. I landed 8 more bass from that spot, including several on consecutive casts including a few that were 16-17", but none were quite as nice as the first.
