Phenix Ultra MBX Classic Spinning Rods

The beautifully crafted, high performance Phenix Ultra MBX Classic Spinning Rods expertly blend form with function. Utilizing the entire lineup of the already popular Ultra MBX rods, the Classic Series features exotic Burl wood and French cork incorporated into the rod series' split/no fore-grip handle system. Because of the density of the Burl rings and cork, Phenix was able to perfectly balance the handle without the use of metal or screws. The absence of these inserts also amplifies the sensitivity of the entire rod, allowing even the most subtle bites to transition into the anglers hands. Toray M40J graphite blanks deliver phenomenal lightweight sensitivity and strength to begin with, which coupled with premium Fuji SiC Guides provides consistent performance and excellent castability. Also featuring proprietary ergonomic reel seats, the Phenix Ultra MBX Classic Spinning Rods are truly works of art with the lightweight performance today's bass anglers expect from their rods.
